Hope this helps and sorry if I didn’t explain properly. Then you can use the application. PDF file by double clicking in the edit box. It sets the printer to ‘Polestar Virtual Printer’ then print the PDF. The print dialog appears, where it should not : the AcroPDF. I was tuning the application, but not anymore. Please tell me if someone see it working properly.
Going to test it now. Looks great just one question. 3rd party software which I need to install an configure, is it portable or do I need to go through the installation everytime I want to use it on a new computer? You’ll have to set it up everytime. Since it’s just a virtual printer, you have to instal the “driver” in order to register the printer in windows Printers dialog.
You might find a better one that could be installed silently along with your app setup, I don’t know really I stopped looking at the first free I found. If you want to change the virtual printer, you just have to set a different printer name in the code provided. Or maybe just put a combo box in your app to select the printer.
